【新三才网讯】Ra是埃及的太阳神，太阳状的圆面放在太阳神的头上来作为代表，比较多的形式是被描绘成一个人的身体有着猎鹰的头，这种形式，比较像是荷鲁斯神（Horus老鹰之神）。其间的差异是，荷鲁斯神的头上是载着一个王冠，而Ra太阳神头上则是圆盘上围绕着眼镜蛇。太阳神经常一手拿着一根权杖scepter，一手拿着生命之钥 ankh。

 

生命之钥在古埃及艺术和现代的意义里，都是最受欢迎的埃及象征之一，象征着生命，它常被描绘成被一个神拿着，显现在法老的鼻前，代表着永生之气将会进入法老的身体。

 

在上埃及的一些神殿墙上，生命之钥被用做是净化仪式之水的象征，此时，法老会站在两神之间（其中之一常是Thoth神），被洒着生命之钥所代表的奠酒。

 

生命之钥也常被装饰性地使用在法老和众神的宝座上。

在死亡之书描述着太阳神Ra：

 

You rise, you rise, you shine, you shine,

 

you who are crowned king of the gods.

 

You are the lord of heaven.

 

You are the lord of the earth；

 

You are the creator of those who dwell in the heights

 

And of those who dwell in the depths.

 

You are the One God who came into being in the beginning of time.

 

You did create the earth, you did fashion man,

 

You did make the water abyss of the sky,

 

You did form Hapi ( the Nile ).

 

You did create the watery abyss,

 

And you do give life to all therein that is.

 

You have knit together the mountains,

 

You have make humans and the beasts of the field to come into being,

 

You have made the heavens and the earth.

 

Worshipped be you whom Maat （the goddess of truth and justice)

 

embraces at morn and at eve.

 

You travel across the sky with heart swelling with joy………..

 

太阳神也常依据他所扮演的角色表现出其他形式，‘在早上，我是Khepri，在中午，我是Ra，在晚上，我是Atum’。

 

Khepri是圣甲虫神，比太阳神崇拜更久远，古埃及人观察圣甲虫在粪中下蛋后，把它推成圆状直到成为一个球，埃及人想像它象征太阳，因为它是圆的，散发出热度，是生命之源，也似乎代表着太阳神的自我创造能力，他们也想像太阳被巨大的甲虫推越过天空，最后，这种想像与死亡和再生相关连，它表现出当幼虫从球中出现时，甲虫死亡了并再生。

 

当太阳神假想为Khepri时，他经常被描述为人形，有圣甲虫在头上，像Ra一样，常携带着生命之钥和权杖，被认为是创造之神，这说明，为何埃及人置放圣甲虫在坟墓和死者身上。

Atum是埃及人所尊敬太阳神的最古老的形式之一，在神殿上，他被描述为没有动物头的完整的人形，他被尊敬是因为他和死亡灵魂有关，他在一天的最后几个小时搭乘太阳船，准备与他在晚上的敌人作战，据说，死者灵魂从身体解放后，在Tuat山谷（冥府）等待太阳船，他们在太阳下山时上船，此时，Atum就是太阳船的领航者。

除了以Khepri和Atum为表现形式外，太阳神Ra也和其他的神   相连结，早期也与荷鲁斯神(Horus）相结合，以致于埃及人描述太阳神有着猎鹰的头；在中王国时期，太阳神也和底比斯（现今的路克索）Amun-Ra神相结合，导致有路克索神殿（Karnak）的伟大建筑。

 

太阳神的功用是在白天横越天际，提供光和热给大地上的居民，他每天搭船从水中升起航行于天空，如是地越过黑暗以致于人类可以生存。太阳神搭的船分为两种，早上的船称为Matet，意思是更强壮，晚上的船称为Semket，意思是虚弱的；Khepri、Ra和Atum三种形式的太阳神依时坐在船中，船沈入Manu日落之山，在那里，晚上的船会进入冥府之水域，称为Tuat.。船在晚间会被敌人攻击，其中最危险的敌人是以蛇形式出现的Apophis；傍晚在天空中的粉红色的光，被认为是来自被打败的受伤的Apohis的血。

 

早上，太阳神就再一次地从晚上的战斗中安全升起，给那些信赖他的光和温暖的人新的希望，带来很多的欣喜。

对于太阳神有一段描述我很喜欢：

 

I am the maker of heaven and earth,

 

I am the establisher of the mountains,

 

I am the creator of the waters,

 

I am the maker of the secrets of the two horizons.

 

I am light and I am darkness,

 

I am the maker of the hours, the creator of days,

 

I am the opener of festivals,

 

I am the maker of running streams,

 

I am the creator of living flame.

 

I am Khepri in the morning, Ra at noontime, and Atum in the evening.
